At the top of the Feudal System is the King who had power over
everyone. Next are the nobles/vassels/church leaders. These people
had to provide the king with loyalty, knights, advice and a place to
stay when he was traveling. The Knights fought for the King and
lived by a code of ethics called Chivalry. they were to be loyal, brave,
and courteous. Knights also had three masters: The King, God, and
his woman. At the bottom of the Feudal system are the Serfs. They
were the ones who worked. They farmed and sometimes were almost
slaves because they worked for very little wages.
